One last week until Spring Break(***), so we want to be sure that everything is in a good place before we head off for a week and forget everything that we have learned and worked on.  On a side note, it will be one of the first weeks where we’ll all have all 5 days together(sorry Freshmen and Dylan).

Goals for the week are:

1. Be able to do working runs of all the material for the concert.
   1. Music on poster-board to eliminate mid-32nd note page turns
   2. Know the notes and rhythms
2. Start to solidify percussion setups and exact instruments we will use.
3. Senior presentations
   1. Musical Piece
   2. Presentation topic(s)
4. Multi-Percussion setups
   1. Instruments
   2. Mounting
   3. Any additional needs
   4. Ideas on how to work on the solos at home
5. Mallet and Snare Solos
   1. Accurate representation of work done and needed to be done
   2. Break down of what needs to be done in the 3 weeks after Break to accomplish this

Basically, by the end of this week, I want us to all know what we need to do as individuals to make the April 28th Concert, the May 6th State Concert Festival, and the May 8th recital to exemplify what we are as individuals and as the Wando Percussion Ensemble and Jazz Band.  Here’s the schedule.
