Sorry for the late posting, but a lot of the same stuff this week as last, with the exception of this weekend.

All the region players did a great job, and there are plenty of things that I’d like to share with you all tomorrow and Tuesday.  Here’s the plan:

• Tuesday, Feb 27th – ACT Testing for Juniors
  • I am a Test Administrator, so I will be watching tiny bubbles get filled in for the entire day.
  • 2nd Block – Individual Practice
  • 3rd Block – Individual Practice
  • After School – *Schedule subject to change
    • 4:00-5:00 – Concert 2
    • 5:00-6:30 – Concert 1
    • 6:30-8:30 – Symphonic Band
• Wednesday, Feb 28th
  • 10:30ish – Middle School Visit Day 1 – Festival Band Performs
  • 2nd Block
    • TBD – Carnival Overture if time
  • 3rd Block
    • TBD – Carnival Overture if time
  • After School – Jazz Band Rehearsal
    • 4:00-6:00
    • Both Groups – Rooms TBA
• Thursday, March 1st – Departure Day for All-State Jazz – All-State Jazz Itinerary
  •  SAT Pre-Coding Day @ 11:02
  • 2nd Block – Surge (depending on how many are out for pre-coding)
  • 3rd Block – Snare Solo Work – All-State Jazz Departs @ 1:15
• Friday, March 2nd – All-State Jazz Clinic @ Newberry
  • 10:30ish – Middle School Visit Day 2 – Big Band Performs 
  • 2nd Block – Individual Practice

• Saturday, March 3rd – All-State Jazz and Jazz Festival in Newberry
