February 3 2019

Weekly Schedule 2/4/19-2/9/19

Congratulations to Tim, Cooper, Dominick and Cecilia!  4 All-State Percussionists!  Great job!  The Region bands are going to be stacked, too!  Add in some great clinicians, and we’re looking into some great musical experiences for several of you.  For those that auditioned, I hope everything went as well as it could have gone.  I know nerves are an issue, and sometimes, even with our best auditions, some things are just out of our control.  Seniors, I am proud of what you have accomplished, and know that this won’t be the last time you deal with disappointment.  Others, although I’m more than pleased with the strides you’ve already made this year, I hope you will use this experience to fuel your drive in the future.  This goes for everybody, not just the All-State Callbacks, not just the seated Region Band kids, but everyone that has improved through the process this school year (and there are still 16 weeks left to go!).

Big week this week for all our concert bands.   Symphonic Camp (Concert 2 and Concert 1) Monday and Tuesday, Symphonic Band preview on Tuesday evening, and the Symphonic Band SCMEA performance on Saturday.  Here’s the plan for the week:
